About the GEF Parent Resource Guide
The Glenview Education Foundation has produced this guide as a resource for the parent community of District 34. We hope it provides a handy resource throughout the upcoming school year and also allows us to share our gratitude with the families, community members, and the businesses and organizations that you see throughout the guide that allowed GEF to invest over $100,000 last school year to overcome the financial gap between the District’s budget and
our educators’ great ideas.

The information compiled for this first resource is only a small portion of what is available through the district and school websites. The district’s websites, handbooks, school and teacher newsletters are all important avenues for parents to keep up on school activities. Thank you to Dr. Gerald Hill, Superintendent, and especially Brett Clark, Executive Director for Communications and Strategic Planning, for assistance in planning and supporting the first Parent Resource Guide.
We hope to provide this resource annually each fall and welcome suggestions to improve its value to parents.

Guides are scheduled to go home to all District families via your youngest student's backpack on Friday, September 10th. Beginning on Monday, September 20, if you did not receive your copy, please send an email to ParentResource@gef34.org and we will be happy to send a copy while our supplies last.
